Hand Care....

Look familiar?  A post like this is probably long over due.  Better late than never right?   I will get straight to the point, it is all about how you take care of your hands (this is a reference to those nasty calluses).  Because of the constant friction and pressure, calluses are going to develop.  The skin in that area gets tough, hardens and gets bigger.  Over time, that thick piece of skin catches on the bar and we get a nasty tear.  What are we going to do?  Stop doing pull-ups?  (yeah right, you wish)
The solution is fairly really simple.  Get ride of them before the bar rips them off for you.  Invest in a callus shaver and a pumice stone.  Both items can be purchased at CVS, Target, Walgreens, etc... for around $10.  As your calluses develop, shave them down with the shaver then smooth them away from the pumice stone.  Watch the video posted at the bottom for a quick tutorial.
